Share your Covid-19 experiences and video diaries at new Virtual Summer School

The Summer Schools have gone virtual this year, 23-24 July, and are free to members of the Networks. The focus is on UK and International digital responses to Covid-19 and exploring whether the crisis will lead to a lasting acceleration of digital transformation.

All members of the CCIO/CIO/CNIO networks are invited to join us for this new style of Summer School, combining video diaries and case studies, with live Q&A and panel sessions, to enable members to share their experiences.

To help make the Virtual Summer School as interactive as possible we’re making two open calls:

Video case studies
We’re inviting proposals for 10-minute max video case studies, sharing the stories of how you and your colleagues have used digital and data through the crisis. You can apply here.

Presentations will be by pre-recorded video with presenters then invited to join live Q&A sessions at the Virtual Summer School.

Video diaries
We’re also inviting as many members of the Networks as possible to record personal 3-minute max video diaries on their experiences of leading through the crisis so far. You can apply here.

Next steps
If you’d like to record a video diary to be included in the Virtual Summer School please share some details on the web form for case studies and video diaries.

We’ll provide full briefing details to all presenters on how to record your presentation and the style and format.

Together, your case studies and video diaries will provide valuable snapshots on how digital leaders from many different parts of the NHS and international health systems have been working for the past two months.

All video diaries and case studies will be published online as part of the Virtual Summer School.
